COMPETITION IS COMPLETED
In the smoking room, silence, fitness and crap on blogs began to appear rarely, in connection with this I decided to organize this competition, allowing graphomaniacs (and not only) to express themselves, please other blogging people and get a dose of fun themselves. In general, I want to create at least the appearance of movement =)
The idea of the competition is not mine, but of certain Gelugon and Argumentator, who live on the World of Science Fiction forum, where I actually started it from.
So, what is this competition all about?.
Quenta, or background (English). background) – a text description of a character, including information about his life, personality, goals and aspirations, not described by the means provided by game mechanics, or expanding and clarifying such a description. Typically, a quenta is written by the player to apply to his character or characters, and contains additional information for the GM.
Each participant creates a character template, which includes the character’s race, profession and a couple of his outstanding features.
Then all the blanks are https://casinolucki.co.uk randomly distributed among the participants, after which they will have to write a quent using the blank they received. The participant is limited only by this preparation and his own imagination. That is, if he must create a “half-breed,” then it can be either a half-elf or an ordinary mestizo man, or even a cross between a bulldog and a rhinoceros, and he can live both in a fantasy world and in a steampunk or cyberpunk one.
The amount of writing also depends only on you (although please note that it is not convenient for everyone to read “multi-page” epics from a monitor, so do not forget to divide the text into paragraphs.)
Well, at the end, when all the quests are published, a vote will be held. Participants will be required to evaluate all quents. Ordinary “spectators” can also join (but if you decided to rate, then that’s it too).
The work will be assessed according to the following criteria:
— the quality of the author’s style (the artistry of the text, the presence of errors, typos);
— brightness and interestingness of the character;
— originality and realism of the quenta;
– quality and interestingness of the world.
Assessments should be supported by a brief commentary explaining it.
Scores are given for each item, and then the final arithmetic mean score is calculated (rounded to the nearest hundredth).
As a result, the author of the best quest will be revealed, as well as the winners in individual categories corresponding to each evaluation path (that is, four more smaller winners ^_^)
1. To participate in the competition, you must unsubscribe in this thread and send the blank for the quenata to me in a personal message.
2. The preparation for the quenta should be as compressed as possible. It indicates: race, profession and three features (Features are: lame, suffers from schizophrenia, cursed, in love, and so on, and thief, plumber, elemental magician are already professions).
3. Having received the blank from me in a personal message, the participant can begin writing the quenta.

6. Quent grading rules:

7.
